As well as new build and extensions we carry out renovation and restoration such as re-plastering of cracked and spalling original walls and ceilings.

External Render systems.

This is a coating applied to the walls of a building, to provide a protective coating which would prevent rain penetration.

Sand and Cement rubbed up float and flat sponge finish.

Decorative Quoin and Key stones, Bands, Ashlar features.

Wet and Dry dash finishes.

Monocouche and silicone/acrylic stippled renders.

Original internal and external Lime renders.

Waterproof and Insulated Plaster Systems.

We diagnose, design, and install waterproof and insulated plaster systems to alleviate and overcome problems associated with lateral, rising, and penetrating damp. Condensation control. Fungal and insect decay of construction timbers.

Our damp proofing plaster systems are designed and applied in accordance with BS 6576: 2005- Code of practice for the diagnosis of rising damp in walls and buildings and installation of chemical damp-proof courses, and BS 8102:2022 Code of practice for Protection of Below Ground Structures Against Water Ingress.

Cementitious coatings, and modified sand and cement plasters incorporating salt inhibitors/ waterproofing additives.

Installation of Air Gap Membranes.

Removal and renewal of Hygroscopic Salt Contaminated Plasters.

Insulated Plaster Systems.

Properties of an age will be more prone to problems with Condensation and associated Black Mould growth such as Aspergillus niger, Penicillin, Cladosporium. The internal surfaces of cold inadequate or uninsulated external walls are susceptible to the attraction of warm moisture laden air, created within a property to condense on them. We therefore can upgrade the Thermal Performance of the cold walls with the installation of retrofit insulated plasterboard or an alternative, Iso-therm thin wall insulation, finished with a skim plaster. The benefits of Iso-Therm thin wall insulation are its vapour permeable, but waterproof therefore resisting any lateral damp transference, and highly resistant to any formation of surface mould. Reduces heat loss, improving the U value of the wall, therefore greater reduction in energy consumption. Being +/- 4mm thick, minimally invasive in its installation.

Polished / Venetian Plaster

Polished Plaster is a term used for traditional Italian Plaster Finish, covering a wide range of decorative plaster finishes from highly polished Venetian plaster and Marmorino to rugged look of textured polished plasters.

Polished plaster itself tends to consist of slaked lime, marble dust, and colour pigments manipulated to achieve a finish which is subsequently sealed with a protective layer of wax/sealer. It originated in Rome and became popular during the renaissance in Italy.

We source high quality Eco-Friendly products from Italy, ensuring each project Is finished to the highest standard, bringing your space to life whether it be an office, hotel, residential setting, film set, commercial space and more. Each project is unique, and we offer innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ varying needs, working closely throughout to ensure their creative vision is fully realised.

Plaster products we use are natural lime based and ground marbles. Lime allows the substrate of which it is applied to breath. This helps stabilize the internal humidity of a building by absorbing and releasing moisture creating an equilibrium reducing condensation and alleviating mould growth. (Appropriate Background heating and ventilation should also be maintained.)

Lime is caustic, has disinfectant qualities, therefore naturally high in PH so acts as an antibacterial surface, mould, and mildew resistant, non-toxic and emits zero VOC’s. Lime is a calcium containing inorganic material encouraging the growth of calcite crystals which adds strength to the finish over time.

We have access to a wide range of products from various suppliers, who all have their own individual catalogues of finishes and colour charts. Therefore, we can provide any colour formulation required as well as those from NCS and RAL systems. We can also colour match to suit your specific design requirements.
